One of the magic keys to stepping up fast in spirituality, is to be able to forgive all, as forgiveness grants peace,

which in turn  brings joy, which ultimately helps in reducing the clutter of negativity in our minds.

This happens because we are always trying to blame the other people out there for all that goes wrong in our world.

This forms a very unnecessary cycle of finger pointing and revenge amongst people around us.

But, try it and see, that as soon as you begin to take responsibility for your life experiences,

you will become aware of your thoughts and be able to forgive all those “Others”;

And in return receive “Peace” and hence “Joy” for yourself

Jai Shreeji!!

These are a series of pictures, showing two monkeys fighting over an abandoned garland, in the premises of a mandir at Vrindavan Dham in India.

As I watched, it fascinated me to see the power game being played between them. Luckily for me, as I had a camera ready, I managed to capture these few shots of their fight, (or I would not even call it a fight, as one is so small, he immediately surrenders to the Big Bully, who I assume always gets his way).

As I went through these photos, I realized how aptly it depicted the power game in many area of our lives also.

There is always the Big Bully , who, to demonstrate his power, bullies the weaker ones for the ‘feel good’ factor in his life.

I do hope I have been able to put my thought across in the right manner here; it has to be taken with a pinch of salt though!!

Destruction is not positive progress!

We humans out do each other to manufacure the most sophisticated and lethal weapons; at the same time making ourselves wrongly believe that we as a human race are progressing.

BUT

Weapons are made only to create fear; to bring destruction.

Can destroying nations, people, and nature be called progress or humanity in any possible way?

It is always for the unsatisfying Greed of some, that Mother Earth and Humanity suffers

We try to make ourselves believe wrongly that we are spreading a lot of love and are capable of receiving as much;

All try to make a show of being compassionate.

Can creating fear and destruction in any way, be associated with love?

In my country the homeless and the very poor are very easily spotted and photographed, as they form a major part of our population. This picture is neither about poverty nor about my country.

Here she lies on a footpath where hundreds walk by every hour.

Its said that a photograph speaks more than any amount of words.

If you look closely, there is a packet of sandwiches for her, along with a bottle of sealed water. Which means fresh food and water is kept for her when she wakes up, not discarded food. Beggars are routinely given alms etc. but this particular lady is asleep and not even begging or asking for food.

It’s an act from a human who is alive to humanity.

I honor this act by exhibiting it on my blog here.

God Bless you!

A strong powerful thinking mind and emotions are some characteristics which distinguish humans from the animal kingdom. This powerful mind which God has blessed us with also gives us the capacity to discriminate between right or wrong.

We turn backwards in human mind evolution when we begin to live on instincts; it would be animal like behavior; fending only for your self;

Eat, Drink, Sleep, Accumulate, Procreate

this is how an animal is born to function; in mankind it is termed as Selfish Behaviour

They are the Basic Instincts

A short poem…

The whistle,

It deafens my ears,

It dismantles my nerves.

As though to give a message

It passes through every passage.

It pierces my heart, and tears my body apart;

Disheveled, I try to hold on

Hold on, to the past time

Hold on, to the beautiful memories

But the train; Its too fast.

I lose my control, unable to keep my hold;

So I flow along with the tide.

My tears, My dreams drown with me

I am lost Forever…

….. Abha Shahra Shyama

“This is a short poem written several years ago; just thought of sharing it with readers today!”

Because over the years, I found that there is no value in holding on to the past.

When I did let go of the past, I found tremendous Joy, and; the Divine waiting for me, so just a little friendly advice;

“Move on in life, don’t get stuck in frustrations, however dark life seems today”

Jai Shreeji!!

Spiritual ‘Giving’ means: No expectations;

One does not give any type of any gift to the ‘Other’, with any sort of expectations,

as in order to maintain the ‘Purity’ of this ‘Giving’, the act has to be complete in itself.

Your own actions will determine your future. As you sow, so shall you reap!

Be very cautious and aware in your interactions

Your present karmas-actions  decide the outcomes that you will receive in this life, as well in future lifetimes

These Karmic outcomes enter our lives as specific situations and personal life experiences.

Chaitri Gulab

Chaitri Gulab is a breed of pink rose which has a very sweet fragrance. Chaitra is the month of March-April, and these roses flower for just these couple of months every year.

Haldi Ghati, near Nathdwara is famous for this rose qualiy.

This place is located at a distance of 42 Km from Udaipur City and 17 Km from town Nathdwara amidst hills of Aravalli ranges.

Haldi Ghati is the place where the famous battle was fought in 1576 between Maharana Pratap and Emperor Akbar. The colour of the soil here is yellow like Haldi (turmeric).  Hence the valley is known as Haldighati.

ShreeNathji has His own Baug, Bageecha(garden), where the Chaitri Gulab are grown and processed for His sewa.

When in anger or in doubt, choose to remain silent.

You will never again have to feel regret for the words which spoken in anger, never really meant anything
