This letter is a note of thanks to the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.

Like the crores of other Indians I have come to look upon him as a saviour of our country. As an Indian, I today feel very proud of having such a bold and confident leader who believes in him self and is not selfish in his motives. I am not at all a political person, yet I feel compelled to acknowledge his greatness.
After reading my letter, if you readers agree with me and share the same sentiments for our country, please like, comment, share this note.

“Lets try and make our vote count”, this one time at least.

Let’s vote to make “INDIA”, “BHARAT-HINDUSTAN”, once again.

Lets vote for a party who will make this happen, which is the BJP, led by Narendra Modi.

The two classes who will vote for sure are the selfish ones; firstly, the uneducated and impoverished citizens who sell their vote; second class of people are the big rich ones, who also have selfish motives for electing a favored party.

My appeal is to you all who are reading this post, you who are educated and intelligent and not swayed by greed. Let your Vote make a difference as to who will form a government in our country, this time. Please don’t get lazy, and also plan your vacations in a way that you are present for the election in your city.

Most of the Indian feminist-activists don’t know that without 4 male adult witnesses to a rape, there will be no death penalty in sharia law. In case the woman fails to do so, she is charged with adultery and may be hanged or stoned to death.

Samajwadi party seems hell bent on protecting peaceful rapists these days (refer to recent Bombay HC verdict which awarded death sentence to rapists). Now another gem from the party, Abu Azmi, wants a Sharia-like setup in India wherein a woman should be hanged if she is raped.

Sonia Gandhi faked her degree. allegedly she made a false affidavit that she had a diploma from Cambridge University whereas she learnt English from a “teaching shop” called Lennox School (now defunct) in Cambridge town.
I have letter from Cambridge University saying there was not such student ever studied. I went to court about this issue but high court justice said me be generous, be lion hearted; leave the matter. So after that subsequently Sonia dropped those things from her affidavit. But our society unfortunately is not tough enough. Only objection I have on satya’s advt. saying that she passed a high school; she did not even passed a high school. Beyond 5th class she did not studied. In this she shares a common educational background with karunanidhi.

Rahul Gandhi Lies on Education.Why is he (Rahul Gandhi) registered as Rahul Vinci Gandhi in Rolings college in Orlando or some place like that, which is a Christian missionary college. Why did he not register himself as Rahul Gandhi? Why did he claim he has M.Phil from Cambridge. University of Cambridge has no record of any thesis, you cannot get M.Phil without any thesis. How did he claim that? I asked university of Cambridge to give me a letter. The university said we know what you did with Sonia Gandhi letter, we are not going to give any more letters. So, they decline to give me any letter. I went to the library where all thesis are kept. His name is not there. Not there as a student also. Not there in registrar’s office as student who took exam, in the year he mentioned, 1995. So, why did he claim. He first claimed he went to Harvard. Yes, he went to Harvard, in the sense, when Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister, Indujas gave 11 million dollars to Harvard Medical School and on donor’s quota and Harvard has this quota, but once you enter, you have to compete, in three months, Harvard said we don’t think you belong here. So, he dropped out. Now, he doesn’t use the word Harvard. Unfortunately for him, some one in politics like me has long standing connection with Harvard. Why you tell lies like this? Because in our country we respect education. So, you tell a lie about education. All of us work hard, to pass examination and get a degree, these guys don’t do anything, and they put themselves as educated.

India’s official name is Bharat and this is accorded equal primacy as the word India in the Constitution. In fact the First Clause of the Constitution begins with the words: India, that is Bharat,….

In Sanskrit, ‘Bha’ means Light and Knowledge while ‘rata’ means “Devoted”. Bharat means “devoted to light/knowledge”. The name “Bharat” is symbolic in nature revealing the quest of knowledge and the spiritual/scientific prosperity of this country.
Through the ages our ancestors referred this land as Bharat. Though the name ‘Bharat’ should be used, we seldom use it today!

Bharat

According to the Puranas, this country is known as Bharatavasha after the king Bharata Chakravarti. It is clearly stated that this country is known as Bharata Varsha.

Rishabha was born to Marudevi, Bharata was born to Rishabh,;Bharatvarsha (India) arose from Bharata, and Sumati arose from Bharata

The realm of Bharata is known as Bharātavarṣa in the Mahabhārata (the core portion of which is itself known as Bhārata) and later texts. The term varsa means a division of the earth, or a continent.

According to Mahabharata as well as the numerous puranas and diverse Indian history, Bharat Empire included the whole territory of the Indian subcontinent, including parts of present day Pakistan, Afghanistan,China, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, North-west Tibet,Nepal and Bangladesh.

This represented as the ideal sample of great empires, which was dominated by harmony, wealth and prosperity.

Hindustan

Hindustan, as is the term Hindu itself, entered the English language in the 17th century. In the 19th century, the term as used in English referred to the northern region of India between the Indus and Brahmaputra rivers and between the Himalayas and the Vindhyas in particular, hence the term Hindustani for the Hindi-Urdu language.Hindustan was in use synonymously with India during the British Raj.

An alternate and infrequently cited theory on the origin of the word Hindustan is based on the Sanskrit shloka from the Barhaspatya Samhita of the Rigveda (ca. 1700-1100 BCE):

हिमालयंसमारभ्ययावदिंदुसरोवरम्।तंदेवनिर्मितंदेशंहिंदुस्थानंप्रचक्ष्यते।।
Himalyam Samarabhya Yavadindusarovaram Tam Deonirmitam Desham Hindusthanam Prachakshate
“The land created by the gods which stretched from the Himalayas to the Indu (i.e. Southern) ocean is called Hindusthan, with the हिंदु (Hindu) mentioned in word हिंदुस्थानं (Hindusthan).”

Bharat Mata, that is, the Mother India  (Bharat – India, Mata – Mother) is a personification of India, and relatively seen by some as a mother goddess of fertility. She is usually depicted as a lady, clad in a saree holding a flag,.

Meaning :

I pay my obeisance to mother Bharat, whose feet are being a washed by the ocean, who wears the mighty Himalaya as her crown, and who is exuberantly adorned with the gems of traditions set by Brahmarsis and Rajarsis.

India, home to more than one billion people, constitutes for 18% of the world’s population.

AREA: 1.3 million sq miles (3.3 million sq km) stretching from the Himalayas in the north to the Indian ocean in the south. India shares borders with Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma and Bangladesh.

Sanskrit is the mother of all the European languages as well as Hindi predominately used in India.

India, which traces its civilization back 5,000 years, won independence from Britain in 1947 in a welter of sectarian bloodshed as the subcontinent was partitioned into predominantly Hindu India and Muslim Pakistan. India has since fought three wars with Pakistan, two of them over disputed Kashmir. In 1962, India also fought a short border war with China.

Although modern images of India often show poverty and lack of development, India was the richest country on earth until the time of British invasion in the early 17th Century. Christopher Columbus was attracted by India’s wealth.

Since the beginning of history the Ganges (THE GANGA, Holy River) has been a precious source of water in the hot climate of India, providing water for drinking, irrigation, bathing, and most recently, electrical energy. For providing such sustenance the river is worshipped by millions of Indian as Mother Ganges. By bathing in the Ganges, one can wash away all sins and begin again, cleansed from the imperfections of the past.

YOGA: The ancient Hindu system of mental and physical exercise is practiced the world over. The belief that yoga can improve one’s health and peace of mind, has prompted thousands of foreigners to try it out.

One of the most enduring symbols of India is the figure of Shiv Nataraj or the dancing Shiva. Shiva’s cosmic dance is believed to encompass creation, preservation, and destruction and this idea has been embedded in Hindu thought and ritual since the dawn of civilisation.

India’s mastery of the science of pure mathematics goes back to ancient times. It is generally acknowledged that the concept of zero, crucial to the development of the science, is India’s contribution to the world, which was given to Europe through the Arabs. In the Ganita Sara Samgraha, 850 A.D., Mahaviracharya, the greatest Jain mathematician mentions the significance of zero. In the fifth century BC Brahmagupta became the first mathematician to solve the Pellian equation. A century later, Aryabhatta arrived at the most accurate value of the mathematical constant, Pi, in the Gitikapada. The Bakhsali manuscript, written in the third or fourth century BC, on 72 leaves of birch bark, is an exclusively mathematical text that presents rules, illustrated instances and solutions to geometric, algebraic and arithmetical problems. In the Kalpasutras, penned in 290 BC, Bhadrabahu solved the Pythagorean theorem. The mathematical genius of the Jains was so developed that their highest numeral was a forerunner of the Alef zero of modern-day mathematics.

The art of Navigation was born in the river Sindh 6000 years ago. The very word Navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘NAVGATIH’. The word navy is also derived from Sanskrit ‘Nou’.

Bhaskaracharya calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun hundreds of years before the astronomer Smart. Time taken by earth to orbit the sun: (5th century) 365.258756484 days.

India invented the Number System. Zero was invented by Aryabhatta.

The place value system, the decimal system was developed in India in100 BC.

Chess (Shataranja or AshtaPada) was invented in India.

India is about the order of magnitude in area as the whole of Europe, excluding the formally known USSR. However, its total population is today greater than the whole of Europe, including the former USSR. That is nearly four times the US population.

Yoga is highly relevant in the modern day context. With tension and stress becoming a part of our daily life ‘Yoga’ enables us to achieve self-realistion in a systematic manner. By helping the union of the body with the mind and the mind with the soul, it creates the ultimate symphony of life. Different forms of yoga i.e. -Hatha yoga, Raja yoga, Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga, Jnana yoga, Mantra yoga and Laya yoga- provides the finest system of education and brings out the best in a person

Ayurveda in Sanskrit means “the science of Life”. It is an ancient, unfailing system of treatment based on medicines prepared from herbal plants found in abundance in India. Ayurveda is an integral part of the people of India. This ancient knowledge system of medicine has gained global acceptance especially for alternative ways of preventive, curative and rejuvenative processes making life a more pleasurable experience.

Ayurveda is the earliest school of medicine known to humans. Charaka, the father of medicine consolidated Ayurveda 2500 years ago. Today Ayurveda is fast regaining its rightful place in our civilization.

You have been making a lot of promises to the Indian citizens and portray your self as a humanitarian.

This post, is a question and a reminder for you. I support the BJP government  and my vote will go for you Mr.Narendra Modi. Even though not being involved in the country’s politics directly, as any lay person I strongly feel the need for an immediate change in our country political scene. The only worthy party which may contribute to some positive change for Indians is the BJP – Bharitya Janta party, with you, Mr.Narendra Modi heading for the Prime Minister seat.

If you come to power, will you remember these words that you have spoken?

Our country is full of the most corrupt leaders. For the several scandals that have come in the open, as many remain hidden. The basic care and concern which a country’s elected leaders are supposed to provide for its citizens is totally lacking.

A lot of promises are made before elections, but, as a leader if one is not constantly evaluating ones actions, infinite power could have an awful effect on the mind of any person. “Power” has the “power” to turn the simplest person into a greedy monster.

Mr. Modi, you will come to power in a time period when our country is in the worst of situations. We expect you to work pretty hard in cleaning up the mess that earlier governments have created. This will not be easy and may take a long, long time before we will feel an improvement in the basics of life and living. Uphold the basic humanitarian values, so that the several lakh below poverty line Indians, are provided basic employment and means to basic education.

We need you to care for the illiterate and the poor visible every day in every corner of our country. You have to commit your self for uplifting them from the filth they live in. These few pictures represent the extreme poverty lakhs of Indians are born and live in whose exact numbers would be alarming to know.

These images are for your reference, as none of you who are in power ever walk the streets of India: The poorest of the poor do need some assurance from you.. as does humanity. They are not just vote banks. Don’t let them down.

These disturbing pictures have been taken by me and uploaded only to get some positive reaction from the Government. Please excuse me for showing my country in this image. I love my country and am very proud of being an Indian citizen. At the same time I realize how blind we have become to these scenes all around us, every where in India. In fact, unfortunately, it has become an invisible part of our country for most of us. Worst is, we have stopped questioning the atrocities of the Government for its citizens. Ours is not a poor country, just that, all the funds fill  pockets and bank accounts of the few in power.

SO, MR. MODI – What do you say? I speak on behalf of the lakhs of Indian citizens whose  life is worse than an animal, we are those who India has forgotten to care for.

 

Its bad to be born poor, worse to be born a poor girl. She is the victim of  the worst kind of abuse, which is never reported nor a part of statistics and numbers.

 

Its so contradictory, how these poor sell Indian Flags and earn some money. They are so illiterate, they will never understand how much this very own country has let them down. They are made to believe that it is in their naseeb to be treated like filth

Who ever the new Government is, (I do hope Mr. Modi, it is your Government), respect a human life and respect Humanity; it is above every other religion in the world.

A person who does not walk on Humanity, can never be Religious or Spiritual.

God Bless You!!

In my country the homeless and the very poor are very easily spotted and photographed, as they form a major part of our population. This picture is neither about poverty nor about my country.

Here she lies on a footpath where hundreds walk by every hour.

Its said that a photograph speaks more than any amount of words.

If you look closely, there is a packet of sandwiches for her, along with a bottle of sealed water. Which means fresh food and water is kept for her when she wakes up, not discarded food. Beggars are routinely given alms etc. but this particular lady is asleep and not even begging or asking for food.

It’s an act from a human who is alive to humanity.

I honor this act by exhibiting it on my blog here.

Terrorism-Who is responsible?

A few ministers stepping down from their posts does not help the country; “Who will pick up the mess they have created?” “I think they should also be tried in court for failure of duty”.

I join in this movement of JAGO INDIA JAGO and hope this naked truth about the law and order situation in India will finally jolt all of us from the deep slumber of the typical “CHALTA HAI” attitude; all Indians suffer from.

 

You, me, all, are resposible in some ways for what we suffer today. Situations in each ones life or in each ones country in the direct result of actions performed or not performed. Let us take responsibility also. The youth of this country HAVE to take an active part, in whatever way they can contribute.

 If some strong measures are not taken by each ordinary citizen then it is not long before we will have terrorists ruling us.

The media has to keep repeating this incident, so that it stays alive in everyones heart, or else public memory is short.
