A тАШselfieтАЩ with Giriraj Govardhan

There is no other as ALIVE SPOT in Vraj Mandal as the divy 21 kms of Giriraj Govardhan parikrama marg; in our times.

It is a sthal of several sakshatkar and Shree Thakurjee anubhuti.

At any point on this parikrama marg, there are many Shilas (Girirajji stones are called Shila as they are divine) which have a divine feel about them. Shilas can appear and disappear as they are alive with the divine powers.

When there is the pavitrata and samarpan one can ‘feel’ the divine presence at several spots around this Divine Parvat, which has been the leela sthali for several Shree RadheKrishn and ShreeNathji divine leelas.

According to legend, Roop Goswami found the idol of Shree Krishn in Goma Tila at Vrindavan in the year 1592.

Initially, this idol was established by him in a small make-shift house. After him, Shri Chaitanya MahaprabhuтАЩs disciple Raghunath Bhatt Goswami looked after the prayers, worship and overall care of the idol.

After nearly 80 years, the idol of ShreeKrishn was brought to Jaipur from Vrindavan by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur.

This mandir is significant as it is believed that Shree KrishnтАЩs murti here looks exactly like Shree KrishnтАЩs Form during His incarnation on Prithvi lok.

The image of this murti of Shree Govind Devji is also known as the Vrajrakrit, i.e. it was created by Raja Vajranabh who was the great grandson of Shree Krishn.

Raja Vajranabh who is, the great grandson of Shree Krishn created these images more then 5000 years ago.

While creating these murti, he sought guidance from his grandmother, who is the daughter-in-law of Shree Krishn, as he needed to know what Shree Thakurjee actually looked like.

As per instructions, he created the 1st divine murti, but she that only the feet of the murti looked like Shree Krishn.

So Raja Vajranabh created a second murti but according to his grandmother, only the chest looked like that of Shree Krishn.

He, then created the third murti and this murti had the face exactly like that of Shree Krishn.

The idol of ShreeGovind Devji is opened seven times everyday for ‘Aarti and ‘Bhog; Shree Radha Krishn murti are dressed in different styles and every time for the ‘Aarti тАШin the day and the procession where a lot of followers or ‘Bhakt’ gather around the courtyard for the Darshan of Govind Devji Temple.
