ShreeNathji Mandir on Shri Govardhan: A Panoramic view.

Darshans here are of this ShreeNathji Chavi. The original Murti is now at Nathdwara Haveli. The journey to Mewar, as desired by Thakurjee, began in 1669 AD, on Asadh Sud Punam on Friday, during the last 3 hours of the night. ShreeNathji with all His sewaks arrived in Sinhad (Nathdwara) in 1672 AD, on Falgun Vad Satam on Saturday.

Many bhakts are not able to get these darshans, as they are unable to climb up; either because of bad health, old age, or the belief that one should not give shram to Shri Girirajji by climbing on Him. Please enjoy these Darshans.

Few details about this sacred mandir:

In 1499 AD, ShreeNathji gives hukum in a dream to Puranmall Kshtri. “Come to Vraj Mandal and build a large mandir for me”. So Puranmall sold all his property and came to Shri Govardhan at Vraj. He asked the Vrajvasi the where about of Shree Dev Daman.

Puranmall was very happy to do the darshans, after which he meets Shri Vallabh Acharya and narrates the dream. “I have sold everything that I possessed and come here with all my wealth to build the mandir as per Shreeji’s hukum”.

Shri Maha Prabhuji grants permission for building. Purnmall then requests Shri Giiriraj that there will be a lot of disturbance in building the mandir, I need your permission. Giriraj Govardhan says, “ShreeNathji will live in my heart, so all the digging work etc will not cause any parishram to me, please go ahead and start the work”.

7

The mandir foundation was laid in the year 1499 AD, Vaishak Sud 3, in Rohini Nakshatra.

5a

All of Puranmall’s wealth was soon exhausted. He went south again to work and earn money so that the mandir could be completed. Shreeji refused to accept this sewa from any other bhakt and waited for 20 years, till Puranmall could complete the mandir!

Till then Shreeji stayed in a small mandir. These 20 years, Ramdas Chauvan Rajput did the sewa. Thus from 1488 AD till 1519 AD, Shreeji did His Leela from this small mandir.

10

The architect Hiramani lived in Agra. As per hukum in his dream, he came to Vraj and met Shri Vallabh Acharya. Shri Vallabh Acharya gave him the permission and instructed him to start drawing the plan on paper. He drew the plan of a mandir without a shikhar. But as soon as he finished drawing the plan it would change to a drawing of a mandir with a shikhar. This happened three times, so Shri Maha Prabhuji understood that it was Shreeji’s desire to stay in a mandir with a shikhar.

14

He tells Damodardas, “Since ShreeNathji wishes to stay in a mandir with a shikhar, it means He will stay in Shri Govardhan for many years. Then there will be attack by the Mughals, after which Shreeji will move to some other part of the country. He will stay here also for several years, after which He will move back to Vraj.

New mandir Paat Utsav

Once this new mandir was ready, Shre Maha Prabhuji reached Vraj after completing parikrama of the country. Shreeji was established in His new mandir in 1519 AD; Vaishak Sud Teej; on Akha Teej. This day is also called the Paat Utsav of ShreeNathji.

12

This is the ancient mandir built by Shri Puranmall. It has been restored twice since.

Shreeji gives us Hukum to come play Holi with Him at His Haveli on Valentine’s Day

ShreeNathji – His “LIVE” interactions varta in today’s time period.

Shreeji gives us Hukum to come play Holi with Him at His Haveli on Valentine’s Day

“मुझे तुम दोनों के साथ रहना था और होली भी खेलनी थी”.

 13th, 14th, 15th February, 2008. Magh Sud Ashtmi, VS 2064

(I am speech less after this writing; no words will ever be able to describe the magnitude of Shreeji’s love for his bhakts).

rajbhog

ShreNathji at Rajbhog Darshans

… On 13th morning, around 11.30 am, Gurushree Sudhir bhai calls up, “Do you want to go to Nathdwara? We will leave today evening, do all darshans tomorrow and come back on the 15th evening”.

As the program is so sudden, I reply that I need some time to think it over and will call him back in sometime. Sudhir bhai realizing that I am a little hesitant says it is okay, we will go some other time.
As for me, I was hesitant because there are some important work and appointments lined up for the next day.
I am in a confused state of mind at having said no to going for darshans.
In an hour I receive another call from Gurushree, “I have booked my ticket on the 5.40 pm Kingfisher flight and I am leaving for Nathdwara”.

I have never ever declined an offer to visit Dear ShreeNathji, so I am upset, as how could Gurushree decide to go without me.
(At this moment I am not aware that it is Shreeji’s hukum for us to reach Nathdwara).
As I whined on the phone, my two daughters who were watching this, asked me, “Who are you speaking to and what is happening”?

I explained how I had hesitated to go for darshans to Nathdwara earlier and now Sudhir bhai is going by himself.
“So why are you so upset? Why don’t you also go”? I explained that I could not as this was so sudden and there were some very important appointments and work lined up for the next day

My daughters laughed, “You are so stupid, mummy, please go we will manage all of this, no worries. We can also help you pack. Let’s book your ticket too. Don’t worry about us. How does it matter if its last minute? We will complete everything for you. Just go, we know how much you love going to Nathdwara”. So they made my bookings in the same Kingfisher flight and I was lucky enough to get the ticket too.

While packing, I can already feel a sudden bliss which overcomes me. It felt sooo good, going to Nathdwara. All goes smooth, and my dear daughters packed me off to go visit my beloved ShreeNathji.
The amazing events and happening felt incredible. I felt so light, so joyous, just kept on laughing, nothing else mattered. Suddenly I felt transformed. All worries disappeared. All I could think of was to reach Nathdwara soon and go for ShreeNathji darshans.
This transformation happens in many of my yatras as usual, when I feel like a different person. Sudhir bhai says that it is my soul which takes over me in the outer world.

From now till the next morning it never struck me that it is 14th and Valentine’s Day.

Next morning, as we waited in the Haveli parisar for Mangla darshan to open, Gurushree, Sudhir bhai finally told me something very astounding, as to the real reason why we had to come so suddenly.

“Shreeji learnt the meaning of Valentine’s day from me. He sees the excitement happening all around so asked me what it actually means. I explained simply, saying that it is a day when people celebrate with their loved ones. Shreeji was very excited and then gave me hukum that he wanted you and me to be in Nathdwara for the 14th February.
“He, ShreeNathji”, wished to spend the Valentine’s Day with both of us, because we were the two bhakts that He loved deeply, in our world; Abha Shahra and Sudhir Shah. Also it is Falgun month and Holi is played in His mandir, so Shreeji invited both of us to be present on Valentine’s Day at His Haveli to play Holi with us.
That is why I called up and made a sudden program. Shreeji did not let me tell you at that time, why we had to make a sudden decision. His order was that I could only tell you once we reach the Haveli”.

What a super surprise!
Shreeji made Sudhir bhai plan this yatra, so that He, ShreeNathji, Thakurjee, wanted to be with both of us at His Param Dham, Nathdwara, for Valentine’s and He wished to play Holi with us at His mandir.

I am speech less after this writing. What do I say? I am at a loss of words here; no words will ever be able to describe the magnitude of Shreeji’s love for his bhakts.

Later at the mandir before Rajbhog Darshans, as we sat at the Dhajaji, we heard Shreeji,

Shreeji:“See, I called both of you’ll here. I understood what Valentine’s Day means.
I told Sudhir that I wished to spend this day with both of you at My mandir and also play Holi with you’ll.
I am glad that you agreed to Sudhir and came here.
Both of you are my loved bhakts”.
“It was Me who ordered Sudhir to come to Nathdwara, and play Holi with Me at My mandir on this day”.

The ten minutes as we stood sanmukh Thakurjee in the Rajbhog darshans, it felt as if time stood still. I stood transfixed watching Shreeji being covered with Holi colours. It was like entering into a trance.

I received the best of darshans and just stood there in His Sanmukh; feeling Shreeji’s Love as I was drenched with His vibrations; it is a very pure and sublime moment, nothing else is remembered;
Though there is tremendous crowd and noise, I am not distracted. It is me and Shreeji playing Holi and the rest of the world disappears for those few moments.
Gurushree and I stood before Shreeji, on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2008, playing Holi with Him, drenched in His love for us.

The divyata of this moment has no verbal expression. It is only to be felt and be very very grateful for the kripa.

This entire darshan takes nearly 30 minutes. We do not shake off the sacred colours; it is collected in a packet to be distributed as Shreeji’s Blessings to close family.

One should not run away thinking about the clothes; in fact this drenching with colours in Shreeji’s mandir, within His Purest vibrations is one of the easiest ways to enter higher purity. Shreeji Himself plays colours for an entire month, so that all bhakts can avail of His purifying Blessings.
After this is the ‘Aarti’.

As I bow, my forehead which touches the ground is also covered with the pure, divine colours. I do not wipe it off and accept this as a parting gift from my beloved Shreeji.

When Shreeji wishes some happening to take place, nothing can come in between. All plans work perfectly for Him.
How it happens, Sudhir bhai tells me often I should not think, only keep faith and accept gratefully what Shreeji gives us, in small matters as well as big happenings.
We complete all the eight darshans that day and visit Shreeji’s gaushala. I had also booked thuli for all my kids.

I am speech less after this writing. What do I say? I am at a loss of words here; no words will ever be able to describe the magnitude of Shreeji’s love for his bhakts.

My entire love and devotions are there for Him thanking Him for this Kripa and Grace. How lucky could I be!

Jai Ho Prabhu, Jai Shreeji!

Our first visit to Ghasiyar-ShreeNathji comes with us to visit His old Home.

ShreeNathji – His “LIVE” interactions varta in today’s time period.

Our first visit to Ghasiyar-ShreeNathji comes with us to visit His old Home.

5th June 2007

When doing some research on ShreeNathji details for His website, (www.shreenathjibhakti.org); I came across this place called Ghasiyar. This is the Haveli that Shreeji had stayed for nearly ten years.

It looked very interesting and to know further details and get some photos for the website a visit was essential. I explained to Sudhir bhai about this divine place, and that this had been Shreeji’s home for ten long years. Sudhir bhai agreed to visit, so today we would do our Guwal and Rajbhog darshans here at Ghasiyar.

I am super excited to visit this place, as it sounds so pure and sacred. So today early morning when waiting with Gurushree for Mangla darshans to open, at around 4am, I tried talking to  Shreeji, informing Him about our visit to His old Haveli at Ghasiyar later that day.

To my amazement, ShreeNathji replied immediately, “I remember it very well. Ghasiyar Haveli is my old home. I visit there sometimes. I will also come with you’ll”.

It felt to me as if I was a part of Him and going to visit His old Home was as nostalgic for me, and felt as if I belonged here.

So around 9-9.30 am, after completing the Shringar darshans at Nathdwara Haveli we left for Ghasiyar .

Once there at Ghasiyar later in the day, Shreeji was very happy. I could again feel His Vibrational Presence, talking to me from inside; telling me how happy He is to be here and how He moves around the entire area enjoying Himself tremendously. He told me He would also be Present inside the Nij Mandir today when both the darshans opened.

Again I felt Shreeji’s Presence around us complaining like a small child, “It is very hot here, but I am very happy that you both remember this place, anyone hardly visits this place.

We received Prasad of ‘Khopra pak’ today; which was extremely sweet and tasty. I tried telling Shreeji in my mind how extra sweet and tasty the Prasad was. “Of course, it will be”, Shreeji again said, “I like eating extra sweet offerings”.

Later I mentioned to Sudhir bhai about this anubhuti. At that moment he silenced me, saying “Yes, I know; you are very lucky. Hardly anyone would be able to experience all the Divine closeness with Shreeji”.

Gurushree Sudhir bhai and I came here at Ghasiyar to study the details. We took pictures from outside, as similar to the Nathdwara Haveli no photography is allowed in the mandir premises. We stayed on for nearly 3-4 hours, enjoying the serenity and sacredness of the whole area. We managed to do darshans of Gwal and Rajbhog.

My Dear ShreeNathji Baba ki Jai Ho!

ShreeNathji

Details about Ghasiyar:

As ShreeNathji travelled to Mevar, His Rath got stuck at one spot. When asked why, Shreeji replied, “My bhakt Ajaba Kunwari lived here; so My mandir should be built here, I will live here for a long time; this place reminds Me of Braj, I like the mountains here”. “There is also the Banas River which represents Yamunaji”. “This is Ajaba Kunwari’s land”, Shreeji said; “I will stay here. Tell all the Gusain Balak to build their baithak here also”.
Shri Govindaji began preparations to get the mandir ready. He ordered Gopaldas Usta, to hire maximum people and make sure that ShreeNathji mandir is ready in the earliest possible time. Work began day and night with hundreds of workers, and in a few months Shreeji’s mandir was ready.

In Vikram Samvat 1672 in Falgun Vad Satam, (AD-1728) Shri Damodar Maharajji (ShriDauji) established ShreeNathji’s Paat in the mandir Haveli. It was all perfectly done with Vastu pratishta and pujan, according to Vedic rites. Slowly all the various rituals and festivals were started again here similar to the Govardhan hill. Since then Shreeji happily began living here at Mewar.
A Gaushala was also built close by for all of Shreeji’s cows.
Shri Dauji Maharaj with a lot of loving care took care of Shreeji, and celebrated all utsav and the Mahautsav; all Shringar was also done by him.

But soon there was a problem created by the Scindia army. They wanted 3 lakh mudras or else threatened to loot the Haveli. As soon as the Maharana of Udaipur heard this he immediately made arrangements to move Shreeji to Udaipur for safety. Shreeji stayed in the Udaipur Haveli for nearly 10 months till His new Haveli was built at a place called Ghasiyar. This scenic place is situated in the Gokunda Mountains.
As Shreeji should not feel upset with the whole arrangement an exact replica of His Haveli in Nathdwara was erected. His Paat Utsav was celebrated here. Sewa similar to the Haveli at Nathdwara was also established soon.

There is a very interesting story behind the reason for moving out from Ghasiyar and back to Nathdwara.
Shri Gusainji-son of Mahaprabhuji had 7 sons. One of them, Shri Girdhariji came here with ShreeNathji for continuation of sewa. He was in charge of looking after the needs of Shreeji.

Once the Ghasiyar Haveli was built, all the followers and sewaks who had accompanied Him from Giriraj, (the original Appearance place of Shreeji) settled with Shreeji here at Ghasiyar for His sewa. Soon Shri Girdhariji began to face problems. He found that all children born here did not survive. It was discovered that the environment and water here was bad, and would not let any further generations of Mahaprabhuji survive. In great distress Shri Girdhariji went and bowed before Shreeji, telling Him of this misfortune; “There will be no one left to do Your sewa, we have to move back from here”. As Shri Girdhariji bowed down, Shreeji spread His feet side ways, outwardly, putting His right hand on his head as blessings and approval. (These are the darshans maintained here in the form of a pichwai showing Shreeji’s lotus feet turned sideways).
With Shreeji’s approval and blessings, they all moved back.
After Shreeji shifted back from here, His Haveli has been left intact, with the sewa continuing in a similar manner. No village has been built around here. The management is with the Nathdwara board. The place is nearly always empty. Three people manage it on a regular basis: the main mukhiyaji-Abgirdhar, munim and a watchman. As we spoke to the mukhiyaji he told us that about 15-20 bhakts came in for darshans daily; as people are not aware that such a place exists.

Though there is a Gaushala very few cows stay on a regular basis. During Annakut about 500 cows come here from Nathdwara which then return. Also when there is shortage of green grass around the Nathdwara Gaushala, some cows are temporarily shifted here.

ShreeNathji Gaushala – Nathdwara

ShreeNathji’s most favorite place – His Personal gaushala is situated about 3 km from His Haveli, at Nathdwara. 0   1 Surrounded by hills it is a very picturesque place; with a lot of open grounds. It was planned and built with the Haveli. As you see, numerous peacocks live in these surroundings. In the above picture, they seem to be feeding on freshly harvested wheat It houses about 2000 cows with a staff of 50 guwals to take care of them. 4

A lovely view of the Gaushala

3 Any visit to ShreeNathji is incomplete without a visit here. It is as important as the Mandir. Shreeji likes staying here – in the midst of His beloved ‘Gaumata’- as He calls them. DSC07412   Shreeji’s Personal cow is Lalitha today; her mother was Rukmani who died about 5-6 years back. 9 This personal cow is in direct lineage of the original herd of the Nand-vansh. She had appeared in Jatipura when the Ardh-Bhuja of Shreeji first appeared from Giriraj Govardhan, at Mathura. ShreeNathji Himself confirmed this to Shri Vallabhacharya. This cow also recognized her Gopal and would go on top of Shri Govardhan daily and feed her milk to Shreeji. (Cows can feel the vibrational levels and the fragrance of their loving Govinda, more than any of us humans). Since then the hierarchy has been maintained very strictly, and the cow came here when Shreeji moved from Mathura to Nathdwara. 5 At this time, Lalitha is called the wish fulfilling cow – any wish whispered in her ear after doing the aathada in full faith will give guaranteed results. The whispered words are received directly by Shreeji Himself; provided the shraddha is there!! 9a I was here first time with gurushree in February-2005 – did the aathada under his guidance and supervision. The aathada done in the presence of a Sadhya is totally clearing of all negativity of the past – our spine crosses totally through the surya bindu of this sacred cow. At the same time gurushree stands there with his mantra shakti and blessings – he granted me total mukti on this day from all the past births and the movement towards merging with the Divine Thakurjee. Since then I have been lucky to visit Nathdwara several times; each yatra has opened me, taking me closer and deeper to Divine ShreeNathji and my own true reality and identity. Many times I feel Shreeji likes to be away from His mandir; and He spends time with us at the Gaushala. This I can feel at times when His sweet voice tells us about some incident at His gaushala, and how much He loves being here with His beloved Gomata, as He calls them. 7

DSC00322

8

There is daily two thuli offered here from the mandir to the gaushala. This can be sponsored if one is lucky enough to get the required date; as only two people get the opportunity daily. This as I witnessed is cooked in the most ancient manner at the gaushala itself. Apart from this if any vaishnav wishes to offer food they can do so directly here by buying grains from the shops. But this is also monitored as extra feeding would have a bad effect on the health of the gaumata.

5a

Gaumata, feeding peacefully.

12 My Gurushree and MahaGurushree, both take delight in watching the gaumata feed in perfect discipline. Without any fight they come and stand in the designated spot and finish their food totally. No grain is wasted. “They should also take a lesson of not pushing around when doing My Darshans and take care to follow a proper queue; then all will get a chance to do proper Darshans”; Shreeji’s voice echoed. 16 (2)

There are paintings all over the gaushala, donated by bhakts.

Whatever offering is made to Shreeji Himself at His mandir in whatever form, He returns back savaya (25% more) to the donor. Finally nothing is actually kept by Shreeji. 17

The look of this place has been maintained in the original form.

It is only at the gaushala bhent that He accepts all totally and nothing is returned to the giver. Shreeji does the karm of taking His cows to graze; if anyone helps Him in this karm of His, He is the happiest and only blessings are returned. Not that we do this offering for return of blessings, it is with the bhao of doing some work for Shreeji; as ultimately in devotion to Thakurji it is only the purity of bhao that matters. Nothing else will help you get closer to Him. 19 20 My Dear Shreeji, Thank you for all Your kripa on this bhakt.. IMG_3425 Shreeji ki Jai ho!

ShreeNathji Kripa of His Darshans at Gowardhan

Devotion for me is offering of myself at your feet, Shreeji-Shree RadhaKrishn. Through You I surrender to eternity”.

ShreeNathji's kripa

Shreeji, Aapki kripa hamesha bani rahe

As I feel myself experiencing this Divine energy, my whole being gets transformed. Had never experienced such sacredness in any situation before. Beyond the ordinary, the mundane, this flow of such incredible intensity moving is in no way connected to the outer reality.

It’s as if experiencing another world, some different level of reality where all is vibrations colors and energy.

What moves within?

Something just takes hold of me and transports me to another dimension.

It makes me greedy – wanting more and more. In this close experience with the Divine, with existence, it feels as if something is filling me up which creates a feeling of gratitude and a lot of joy. It’s as if I’ve finally found what I had been searching and waiting for.

This is the door for the ‘Bhao’ that I want to be a part of.

It intoxicates me – the flow of such Divine love, I am unable to keep myself to myself- I have to melt away- do away with all the physical boundaries of this gross body and move deeper and deeper to reach the Dot.

The purity, the sacredness of the total experience shows me a new and different way of being. I feel I am floating away carried away into a cradle of love, love and a lot of love. I feel rested, I feel peace and most of all I feel of not wanting to stop this flow and come back to outer reality we call life. As the vibrations enter every pore, each cell of my being, I feel I want to drown totally in this flow, in this bliss.

Krishn, let my heart be totally pure and mind intent on the goal”.

The wearing of Shreeji’s pujan ‘mala’ at the Mukharvind, and the Tilak  of the pujan at the Shyamkund, stirred up un describable devotion and a feeling of complete surrender and peace – of “belonging”.

Such moments of pujan become memorable, I call them soul presence, as there is nothing of the mind and body present at the time of  darshans; it is ourselves, as the true beings in the original identities.

This can only be experienced, not explained, and I guess only possible in the close proximity of one who is the highest in purity and spirituality, which is Gurushree, Sudhir bhai .

ShreeNathji leaves His Haveli Mandir from Nathdwara, as Shreeji enjoys staying with Gurushree most of the time. It is his kripa that Shreeji gave His sakshat darshans from His Mukharwind at Giriraj Govardhan.

Such intensity and Bhao I have never experienced before – such total acceptance of me as myself; as the truth about my true identity.

Jai Shreeji!!

ShreeNathji Darshans – Nathdwara – 1

**********************************************************************************************************                                                                          Darshans at Nathdwara Haveli-Mandir

The Swarup of ShreeNathji as He Appeared at Govardhan, and now Living at Nathdwara,  is in the Form of a reddish black stone Murti, about four feet in height. His left hand is raised, just as He had appeared at Govardhan. His right hand rests on the waist with His palm formed in a fist. ShreeNathji Himself Lives here in His Haveli Mandir; so is worshipped in a very live manner. It is assumed that He is Present at all times in His Bal Swarup; Over Shreeji’s Nij Mandir there is a roof top with the Dhajaji flying, and His Sudarshan Chakra. Shreeji has many times told me jokingly, “Dekho main kitna gareeb hun, mere paas toh sirf ek jhopdi hai, baaki sab yeh log le jaate hain”(Look, I am so poor; I have just a hut to live in, rest all is taken away by them).

Similar to how we would look after a young child, His Sewa is done with the most pure of bhao and best of samagri. According to Shrimad Bahgvat, Shri Vallabhacharya had started the Ashtyaam sewa with the bhao of Nandalaya. Later his second son Shri Gusainji Vitthalnathji established the elaborate sewa of Bhog and Shringar which is followed till today, similar to nearly 500 years ago. The festivals and their way of celebrations is also not changed; the various type of clothes and ornaments that Shreeji wears are the same as started several 100 years ago by Shri Gusainji. All of ShreeNathji Bhog is prepared according to the various seasons and days. Every type of food is prepared for Shreeji and offered in His Nij Mandir. All the traditional foods; with every dry fruit, many very expensive herbs are also used depending on the seasons. Only black pepper and rock salt is used in the preparation of His food, as being a young child would not enjoy chilies. A lot of sugar is added in His sweet preparations. Like He mentions sometimes in fun,

Main toh bahut meetha khata hun, phir bhi mujhe diabetes nahi hota, ha, ha, ha”.

(I eat a lot of sweets, yet I do not have diabetes, ha, ha, ha”).

During the hot summer months He is offered water with chandan and rose; while in the winters kesar is added to His water. The way of cooking food for Shreeji follows the traditional manner. Bhog is the most elaborate and perfect with the most pure ingredients being used. No one is allowed to watch Shreeji when He takes His meals.

Shreeji explains,

“Main toh sirf soonghta hun, kabhi, kabhi laddoo aur beeda khol deta hun. Chappan bhog toh yeh log apne khane ke liye banate hain, ha ha ha. Jhariji mein se Jal kabhi pee leta hun.”

(I only inhale the offerings, at times I break open the Laddoo and Betel offerings. The Chappan Bhog offering is for them to eat only, ha, ha, ha. I do drink some water from my Jhariji, at times). Shreeji’s Shringar is the most artistic, and beautiful. It is alokik . All type of ornaments are there for Him; used according to the type of Shringar done on that particular day. The flowers are freshly grown, and bought every morning from various gardens, grown especially for His Sewa. There is a room for preparing Shreeji’s various Malas; where different fragrant flowers are used. Shringar can be done only by the Tilkayatji or the Mukhiyaji who has been appointed by them. None is allowed to watch Shreeji when He gets ready.

“Kabhi, Kabhi jab tayaar karte hain aur main dhyan nahin rakhta toh thoda sa hil jata hun, vastra, abhushan gir jaate hain. Kitne der khada rahun? Baar, baar tayaar karte hain, bolte hain attention mein khade raho Shreeji, bhakt log aaye hain. Main tou thak jata hun, main kiya karoo?”

(Sometimes, when they are getting me ready, and  I don’t concentrate, I shake a bit, then the clothes or jewellery fall off. How long can I stand? Over and over they want me to stand still when they make me ready for darshans, telling me to stand in attention as bhakts have come for darshans. I get tired, what to do!)

Shreeji  is Natkhat, so, though having stopped direct interactions; yet plays sometimes in His Mandir. There have been times when He refuses to accept certain ornaments or vastra. If He has pushed them away three times, it is assumed that Shreeji does not want this. A new pair of the same is always kept ready, which is then used for Shreeji. New Vastra are used daily for Shreeji. No clothes are repeated. There is a team of  tailors who continuously stitch Shreeji’s clothes in the Darji Khaana. Unlike all other Hindu mandirs, Shreeji’s Darshans are not open continuously for the day. As Shreeji Lives here in the ‘Live Form’ of a small child, all His Darshans are regulated accordingly. From morning, when He is woken, right through till the time of going to bed, there are eight Jhankis (Darshahs) which are open to bhakts. They are called-Mangala; Shringar; Guwal; Rajbhog; Utthapan; Bhog; Aarti; Shyan. All His Darshans are open only for a short while, the bhao being that He is a child, so will get tired of standing and may experience shram; so frequent Darshans are there for short durations. The bhao is of a young child who is woken up, offered snacks; bathed and dressed; ready for His play; offered an elaborate lunch; He must be tired so given rest in the afternoon; woken up for His afternoon snack; Aarti done; offered dinner; changed and asked to sleep. Each Darshan has a special bhao and meaning. (Have elaborated them later). Though each Darshan is important in Itself; ideal is to at least do all eight Darshans when in Nathdwara, for the maximum benefit of experiencing any closeness with Shreeji. The timings of each darshan are more or less fixed, they may vary at times by some 20-30 minutes, according to the seasons. The daily timings are declared outside the gate on a black board and also on an electronic board. At times two Darshans are combined. This happens when the crowd is extreme, on some important festivals. Darshans have to be kept open for a longer period so that all the innumerable bhakts get a glimpse of Thakurjee. Govardhan Parvat, Shreejis original Pragatya Sthal, has eight doors. Each door is the place of one Asht Sakha of Shreeji. The Asht Sakha were the eight poet friends, who wrote and sang various bhajans in classical bhao. All these rachanas are in praise of Shreeji and express different bhaos. They are used till today in Nathdwara with each Darshan, according to the particular Darshan, festival and time of the day.

(Details of each darshan will come in part – 2)

ShreeNathji-Brahm sambandh

********************************************************************************** Brahm Sambandh is the connection of the seekers soul to the SuperSoul. It means total dedication and surrender of the individual self to Shree RadhaKrishn-ShreeNathji.ShreeNathji The most important factor when taking Brahm sambandh is the requirement of purity levels in the Guru as well as purity of bhao in the disciple. This Sambandh will give desired results when the Guru initiating  Brahm sambandh has a direct connection to the Divine. (Shri Mahaprabhuji, Shri Gusainji had this direct connection and were empowered by ShreeNathji to give Brahm sambandh). In this new Sambandh with Shreeji, the human soul becomes free from past karmic cycle, provided he maintains the required levels of Bhao and Purity in his surrender to his God and his Guru. Shreeji directly accepts the sewa of such bhakts when Bramh sambandh is given by the Divine Guru. The Divine Guru initiates and plants love and bhao for Shree RadhaKrishn-ShreeNathji in the core of his disciple, as bhao and pavitrata increase it creates an awakening from within. Mind, body, soul surrenders in totality to Thakurjee, and His divinity enters their Being. The divine soul is awakened totally and becomes aware of his original realities. The most realistic examples can be read in the olden scriptures of Pushtimarg; 84 Vaishnav Ki Varta and 252 Vaishnav Ki Varta, written by Shri Gokulnathji. These two Granths are very real examples of the Divine Guru giving  Brahm sambandh to the deserving disciple. These two granths also tell us how disciples are chosen carefully by the Divine Guru for giving sambandh. Brahm sambandh is a very big responsibility for the Guru too, as he becomes bound for life times to the chosen disciple. He will have to continue taking birth to make sure that all his disciples are freed from the karmic cycle. Gurushree, Sudhir bhai says about the true meaning of Brahm sambandh, “There has to be Shravan, Manan, Aachran. Shravan is the listening of the Mantra in the ear through the guru which is easy. Manan means, the involvement while chanting the mantra. If the required depth is missing than the mantra is not effective in establishing the right connections. While chanting, if the devotees mind is involved only in the counting or the time factor, the mantra will not work in any way towards closeness with God. Beyond these two important rules is the discipline of Aachran. This would require the devotee to walk the path of mantra. He would be required to maintain the discipline and dedication which the Brahm sambandh imposes on you. If purity level is not maintained beyond the few mala chanting period, true growth is not possible. Then all the chantings and number of malas go in the dikhava (outer show) level; if the purity requirement is not followed, it becomes just a show and a time pass, as no connection is ever felt by the devotee with his God.   Darshans and play with the Almighty is there on this earth itself for these lucky divine souls who are an intimate part of the Divine Himself, come on this earth to help in the completion of His worldly leela. Then there is no separation; when the whole being, every cell, every pore is only for Shreeji. He enters our lives at every level and each moment is filled with the Presence of His bliss. The Gold Pile..Or?

Muammar Gaddafi, former Libyan dictator died under very tragic circumstances; being the latest in example of how power can corrupt the human mind beyond any repair.

[News from a well-known site: (This is used only for example)].

MAIL ONLINE

“Colonel Gaddafi’s daughter phoned her father after learning of his capture – only for the call to be answered by a rebel who told her: ‘Old Fuzzhead is dead’.

The revelation came amid international demands for an investigation into how the deposed Libyan leader died. NTC sources say he was shot by a 17-year-old with the dictator’s own gold-plated revolver.

It also emerged yesterday that Gaddafi begged for his life by offering gold and money beyond their wildest dreams to his capturers.

Rebel fighter Hammad Mufti Ali, 28, told Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera: ‘He said he was willing to offer anything in exchange for his life – he said he had money and gold for us.”

Gaddafi was killed on Thursday under still-murky circumstances, although he apparently was dragged from hiding in a drainage pipe, begging for his life.

Gaddafi was killed on October 20th, 2011, Thursday; This according to astrology is known as the “GURU PUSHIYAMRIT YOG”; a very auspicious day when knowledgeable people buy gold to increase prosperity.

Gaddafi, ironically is killed on this very day with his own gold pistol!!

His gold, his unlimited wealth could not come to his rescue, WHY??

In the answer to this WHY  lies the deeper meaning to our lives.

Why could his gold or power not save him from the brutality of his death? (In this news it is stated that he was shot with his own gold plated revolver!!)

What purpose did his hoarded gold serve him?

What did he carry back with him as he left his body?

Why was he thus assassinated, in spite of being so rich and powerful? He had a gold plated revolver!! Isn’t it ironical that he should be shot with this? When he made this gold revolver, what was he thinking of??

These are many questions which could be probed to find some deeper answers to our lives.

In fact this article is not about his death; it is a deeper question about us. . (Gaddafi is used here only as an example, to understand where true power is).

What is really important for us as humans?

Why does being powerful (as history proves), either in wealth or title (status), corrupt the human mind?

The wealth that we accumulate has to be shared with the less fortunate, part of it put to some good use for the world in general; or else is called tainted wealth (tainted or impure Lakshmi-wealth). This wealth has the power to corrupt the mind and can never bring happiness or peace, as firstly the sources and the means of accumulating are not correct; secondly, it was not purified by sharing with others or putting to some noble cause.

The superior Intelligence of our universe works on some Spiritual Laws, and this is one of them.

In fact, if the source of wealth are very bad, and the karmas of the particular human  extremely negative; he is even denied the thought of offering part of his wealth to any God, by this very Divine Intelligence.

If he had offered some part of his wealth to God, he may have experienced some cleansing of karmas; but the money is so tainted, he could never have the thought of making an offering to any place of worship.

Here our “Shreeji-Thakurjee” would say, “If he had given any gift to me (like making a gold phirkee), whether I accept it or not; the donor would have to be compensated; the obligation has to be paid back. So Superior Intelligence turns off his thought of making any offering, as his wealth is not fit to be accepted by the Gods. He will never get the thought to offer even a gram of gold to God. In this way, Intelligence makes sure that evil gets the results he deserves in this world.

Singer Usher, Nelly Furtado,  Mariah Carey, Beyonce, are some examples here who did accept payments when doing private performances for Gaddafi; but gave some or total of the payment received for performances; to various charities.

These celebrities are troubled in heart for accepting the ‘tainted money’. They are not willing to keep the dollars for themselves, as all were aware about the tainted origin of this money. Their conscience did not permit them to use this cash; so even though they might have accepted this payment, their action is purified to some extent by donating it all or part of it for charity.

(This news I have read on the internet, and is used here only for example and not proof).

So my dear, what is worth running after?

This “GOLD PILE”    or the very tiny “DOT “ within (which can blast into the highest divine power), and  wherein lies your liberation.

…This is from a series of lectures on various topics, by  Gurushree Sudhirbhai; for creating greater awareness in our lives.
