ShreeNathji-Return to Vraj

 “Jai ho ShreeNathji”
When You return to Vraj very soon, this is what Girirajji will feel like.

Your Dhajaji will fly on Shri Govardhan, though unseen to the world. Visible only to Your chosen bhakts.

Your Presence will again bring to life the dormant urjas and vibrations of several hundred years ago.

“SHRI GIRIRAJ GOVARDHAN”.
YOU TOO MUST HAVE MISSED BEING HERE WITH YOUR BELOVED CHOSEN BHAKTS AND SHAKTIS.

Do not create picnic spots at Vrindavan

– first step towards responsibility for Vraj Mandal is preservation and restoration of what is left.

(Several things are already beyond repair).

If nothing is done even today for preservation, Vraj will be in a crisis situation.

The point of no return😢

CM YOGI COMING TO VRINDAVAN TO INAUGURATE THE BIGGEST PARK IN INDIA😥 Our plea to this government who is spending multi crores to hide the sad state of Vraj..

The crores and crores they sign on papers need to be used for preservation first. If preserved there will be no need to create anything new. Vraj Mandal cannot be marked as a tourist spot.

It’s excellent that the present government is giving any thought to re development of Vraj.

Sadly this re development will not work till preservation and restoration is given priority.

One just has to take a walk on Vrindavan Parikrama marg to see the degradation of this pavitra Dham.

– We first need to vacate the encroachment on the marg and make a walkway at Shri Yamunaji. From where bhakts can access the pavitr leela sthals of Shree RadhaKrishn.

– Removing the monkey menace is the second step in taking care of our pavitr Dham. All peacocks are being driven away by this menace and bhakts walk in fear.

– Pigs have entered every sacred sthal, including at Shri Govardhan. Which need to be removed ASAP. Five years ago none were there.

Someone is trying to destroy the pavitrata of Hindu teerths.

– Entire Chatikara pavements have already been taken over by the illegal hawkers.

– The Nagar Palika and Police force should become accountable.

The people in power never see the REAL VRAJ PROBLEMS. As every thing is cleared and cleaned at the areas where they visit.

In olden days the Raja and Maharajas walked around their cities in disguise to SEE THE REAL STATE OF THEIR LAND.

Wonder what Vraj Mandal we are leaving for our children and grandchildren.

They will only be able to see the original reality in some photos or videos which bhakts may have uploaded.

And Girirajji Govardhan is in the worst of state today.

All just TAKE..TAKE..TAKE.

May the present government see the truth of their actions.

The crores and crores they sign on papers need to be used for preservation and restoration first. If preserved there will be no need to create anything new.

The old and ancient pavitrata if returned to Vraj Mandal will be enough for the higher divine shaktis.

OR ELSE THESE SHAKTIS WILL NO LONGER BE AROUND.

Nine Gopi Elephant at Kunjera Village, Vraj Mandal

Kunjera village is the place where the nine gopis took the form of an Elephant for Shree Krishn

In this post you will be able to hear the katha behind Gopis taking an elephant form for Shree Krishn.

When Shree Krishn was leaving Vrindavan, the Gopis requested Him not to leave. Shree Krishn joked that if they could show Him an elephant, he would not leave. Not being able to find an elephant, nine gopis came together and formed an elephant, which is called the Nav-nari kunjara.

The meaning of this divine leela in the words of the pujari:

A small mandir has been erected here

untitled-6875

The earlier mandir was looted and the original murti depicting this divine leela was stolen. Just a couple of years ago this mandir was established by a bhakt, and a painting is being worshipped at present.

There is an ancient Shree RadhaKrishn murti here, carved out of stone, that is said to have been established by Raja Vajranabh, the great grandson of Shree Krishn. This murti has been desecrated by the Muslims, so worship is no longer done to this murti. Every Monday the local villagers come and pour milk over this murti of Shree RadhaKrishn are kept in a small kuti for darshans, adjacent to the mandir under a chokar tree

Vrinda Devi mandir-The small Kuti under the Chokar tree where the ancient murtis are kept

The disfigured deities murti under the chokar tree had been worshiped as Shree Vrinda Devi for a very long time before Baba Madhava’s arrival. According to the villagers, some thieves had come fifty years before, stolen the sculpture and stored it near Charan Pahari, along with some other stolen sculptures. But when they brought a small truck to carry them away one night, even six or seven of them together could not lift the sculpture of Vrinda Devi. So they left it there. In the morning one villager saw the murti lying by the side of the hill and carried it back to Vrinda Kund(Story as told to us by the family who owns the place)

Kusum Sarovar,Shri Govardhan

Kusum Sarovar, a beautiful sandstone monument, is a 25-minute walk from Radha Kund. Kusum means “flower,” and here the gopis would pick flowers for Shree Krishn.

DSC_1871

The ghats at this kund and the buildings above the kund were built by Jawahir Singh, the king of Bharatpur around 1764, in honor of his father Raja Surajmul.

Surajmul attacked the Mughal King of Delhi and was killed in the battle.

His son Jawahir Singh then attacked Delhi and killed the Mughal king.

On the upper level are three tombs.

The main tomb of Raja Surajmul  has beautiful paintings on its ceiling depicting the pastimes of Shri Krishn and the lotus feet of Shri Krishn engraved on the floor.

There are also some paintings of Raja Surajmal in his court.

The other tombs are those of his two queens, Kishori and Hansiya.

There are beautiful paintings on the ceiling of these two tombs.

Save Vraj Mandal-Stop the use of Plastic

“VRAJ MANDAL”

This is a post written in Hindi, as it needs to reach out to the locals and majority of bhakts speak and read Hindi, our National language. It is an appeal from this Vraj lover to take some immediate measures. It talks about the filth and plastic that has become a second layer on this sacred land of ShreeNathji, Shree RadhaKrishn.

Blog-Help Braj Dham

Please read the complete post, and play your role in trying to maintain the purity of this divine land.
It will really help if you write your thoughts in the comments, and share this post on as many pages and groups, so that the message spreads far and wide.
Thank you for reading this message;
Warm regards,

Vraj Mandal bhakt,
Abha Shahra Shyama.

Wake up Vraj Vasisis and Vaishnavs!

This photo is from your favorite most sacred Giriraj Govardhan!

You are not even allowed to climb on this most sacred Parvat; and if you do then you have to ask for forgiveness. The local Pundas here keep shouting at you if you even step close by mistake with your shoes or socks on. But these same Pandas turn a blind eye to this filth created by them only. Pictures speak more then any words I could have written. Wake up. Stop giving these local Pundas any dakshina till they realize their responsibility. They have become accustomed to loving in free, no matter what they do or dont do.

The most sacred parvat, Shri Govardhan is also drowing in plastic. This photo is from the Anyor side of the Girirajji.

Jai Shreeji!

This sacred mandir is situated in the heart of Vrindavan city with an area of approx. 30,000 sq feet.

It is known as BANSHI VAT MAHARAAS STHALI.

The Vrindavan Parikrama Marg and the sacred Yamuna run on the back side of this place and are connected by a narrow lane to the back door of this divine place.

Earlier as history describes, Banshivat was situated on this Yamuna Tat (bank); but as time passed land between the two places became divided, because the sacred Yamuna River has been receding very fast.

There are two mandirs here; one is the small ‘Charan’ mandir which is situated in the center of the parisar. These divine ‘Charan’ of Shree RadhaKrishn were established in 1820, by a great sage, Girdhari Sharn Dev acharya; he was a great devotee and served Ras Bihari with a lot of bhao, which pleased the Divine, and Radha Ras Bihari gave Their Charan to him.

The other large mandir was built by King Oyal (from Lucknow) in the 1900’s; in which the proper sewa is done daily of the Deities of Shree Radha Krishn today.

Pushti maarg samprada Chief Sri Maha Prabhu Vallabhacharya came to Vrindavan. He was looking for a place to hold the Bhagvat katha. He found Banshivat to be the most pure and decided to have the Bhagvat katha here.

Some say that the first darshan of ShreeNathji he found here at Banshivat.

His many disciples – Surdas. Meerabai, Kumbhandas, Nanddas ……. Visited this place and have described it in their books.

It also finds mention in the Chaitanya Charitamrit.

Vrindavan is famous as God played ras leelas with the gopis. In today’s times there are many places which have been proclaimed as the raas sthali; but with the proof available Banshivat is the only place which is mentioned in many scriptures and holy books and history by various saints.

Banshivat is Thakurjee’s most loved Raas leela sthal.

“Brindavan so van nahi, Nandgaon so gaon

Banshivat so vat nahin, Shree Krishn naam so naam”.

‘Gopika shat kati bhi Raas leela vibhu sith

Banshi Rav sama keerm Banshivat namo stute”.

“Brindavane vate banshi, praoage maoarath:|

Gayanya akshay khyat, kalpastu Purushottume||

Nishkumbh: khal lankaya, eategha panch gha vat:|

Eaitesu vat mulesu, sada nivsati makhav”|

*Shree Krishn Played His flute often under this Vat. Banshi means the flute; Vat means the Banyan tree.

*Banshivat is the spot where the Divine couple spent a lot of time.

*ShreeKrishn played the famously divine Maha Raas here on the Sharad Purnima night.

*This is the spot where many famous loving divine leelas of Radha and Shyam along with the gopis took place. Freedom from the many commitments made to various bhakts in the many different avatars;

Granting anand and bliss to the many rasik bhakts; are some of the main reasons spoken about in the olden scriptures as reasons for the Maha Raas.

*Another reason for being famous is Shree Krishn’s victory over Kaam Dev at this spot.

A small temple of Gopeshwar is also on one corner of the main court, inside the Banshivat.

The story about why this is here:

When the sacred Maha Raas began, while in deep meditation on Kailash Parvat, Shiv Bhagwan heard the mesmerizing dhwani of Shree playing His divine flute. He told Parvati that He was going to prathvilok to be a part of this divine happening. He followed that transcendental sound until He came to Vrindavan, where ShreeKrishn was getting ready to start the Maha Raas with His gopis.

Desiring intensely to join the Maha Raas, when He came to the entrance of the Raas-Shali, He was stopped by Yogamaya, who told him, “Only gopis can enter here, no males except Thakurjee can be here at this time.”

Being a male He first, He was requested to take the form of a gopi, which only Shree Yamunajee would be able to grant Him.

After bathing in the Yamunaji, Lord Shiva emerged from the river with the form of a beautiful gopi.

Lord Shiva in Her gopi form stood at one corner of the Raas sthali. Lord Shiva stood there and prayed to Shree Radha Krishn for getting prem-bhakti.

Then the raas started. Shree Krishn danced with all the gopis. He also danced with Lord Shiva who was disguised as a gopi.

As He entered the place, Krishn recognized Him instantly – hence gave Him the name of Gopeshwar. The story continues how Radha became angry; she accused Krishn of calling a new gopi by the name of Gopeshwar, which means – the Lord of gopis. All these years He had never ever called Radha by this name. Then Shyam had to explain the details to Her. “This is no ordinary gopi. He is Lord Shiv and He has come all the way to see the Maharaas leela with a pure and sattvik gopi bhao.

Since then in His respect a mandir showing Shivji in the Gopi Form is there.

On 5th evening at around 4.30 pm which is the 44th day of construction, we visited the mandir and the charan shila to check if all is complete in perfection.

The structure looks heavenly in pure white and I can feel this longing again, this sense of belonging which I feel repeatedly at many places in Vrindavan. In fact looking at their pictures also is enough to evoke this sense of belonging and longing; this deep, deep connection and attraction I feel within; at times I have the over whelming need to be in Vrindavan. This is my home, it is where I belong!

Here at Banshivat today this attraction is very strong and I can feel held by the Divine vibrations.
